Deluxe Rooms

For a romantic stay in Marrakech, our deluxe rooms are sure to provide with an elegant and stylish choice spread across our two riads. The rooms are all substantial in size, and with rose petals scattered on your bed, romance is sure to be the backdrop of your stay with us.

The Deluxe Rooms all have air conditioning and fireplaces (except the exquisite Silver Room, which has no fireplace). They all have separate sitting areas.

Each bed has a large duvet in the winter, summer blanket in the summer, two demi-duvet pillows, and two hotel-quality non-allergenic pillows. Sheets are high thread count all-cotton bed linen. Bathrooms hold hand and bath soap, body lotion, plush towels, and cotton bathrobes. The beds are decorated with silk throws in the winter. Additional amenities are provided in case of emergency (shavers, tooth brush, et cetera). Although the metre thick walls regulate the extremes of temperature, in the winter, both a fire and the heating will make sure you are comfortable, in the summer, the air-conditioning and fans keep guests cool.

Guests will enjoy a complimentary fruit plate and a large bottle of still water in their room upon arrival, as well as turn down service in the evening. Your fireplace will be lit in the evenings and upon your request at any other time of the day. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available and each room's closet has the necessary lists and bags.

Silver Room

The "Silver Room" has a carved plaster ceiling and long band of carved plaster around the silver-coloured tadelakt walls. The floor is a mosaic of uncoated and coated tiles, called bejmat and zellige, alternating between natural and white. An exterior window looks out onto the palace ramparts; an interior window looks to the courtyard. There are two chairs, a table, and an armoire. The bed is a baldaquin bed, draped with light curtains, and is a generous 180 x 200cm.

The bathroom walls are of silver tadelakt, the floors are done with white tiles, and there is a vaulted ceiling with a skylight. The mirror is made of hammered silver, as is the sink. There is a tadelakt bath with shower, and a toilet. Hot water bottles will be inserted into the bed in cold months. In-room AC.

Casablanca Room

The style of this room is Art Deco, to reflect the heyday of this well-known City. The walls are made of off-white tadelakt; the ceiling has an art-deco motif around a matching lamp. The bed (200 x 180cm) and the night-tables are of walnut wood, the latter with silver-coloured lamps. Two period armchairs and a table front the fireplace, which is decorated in an art-deco pattern all in black and white zelliges (mosaic). Sepia-coloured prints of Casablanca and a large mirror made of camel bone and black wood decorate this superb room. Art Deco accessories are used throughout . The floor is of black and natural colored bejmat, leading through to a dressing area and into the bathroom. The walls in the bathroom are made in off-white tadelakt, there are vaulted ceilings, a large bath with shower, toilet, and a hammered silver mirror and sink. In-room AC.

Harem Room

The harem theme translates into rich red velvets, used extensively in the room’s furnishings. The gold four-poster bed measures a generous 200 x 180cm and is draped in gold. It has side tables and gold night lamps. Two armchairs and a small brass table are set in front of the fireplace, the latter decorated with Suleiman’s arabesque signature. Two poufs and an ornate Orientalist paintin as well as stunning lamps further adorn this exquisite room. The walls are red, the ceiling is of carved plaster and the floor is made of bejmat with a red zellige border and lead through to a dressing area and then into the bathroom. The walls of the bathroom are made in off-white colored tadelakt, there are vaulted ceilings, a shower, toilet, and separate area with a hammered silver mirror and sink. In-room AC.

Safari Room

The Safari suite has a tataoui ceiling, a traditional craft of Southern Berber tribes, made of woven oleander branches. Here we have left them natural, to reflect the colours of the desert trade routes. The walls are of a light khaki tadelakt, to further characterize the décor of the room. The room has two twin-sized beds with decorative mosquito netting and small night-tables, which can be twinned to a king-sized if necessary. There are two armchairs and a small table in front of the fireplace. A Mauritanian leather and straw carpet, a trunk, African tapestries, and books on old African hunting further decorate this exquisite room. The floors are of bejmat with a white zellige border and lead through a dressing area to the bathroom. The walls of the bathroom are made in straw-colored tadelakt, there are vaulted ceilings, a shower, toilet, and separate area with a hammered silver mirror and sink. In room AC.

Berber Room

This room's spectacular ceiling is painted in bright panels of highly decorative Berber motifs. The walls are made of sun-coloured tadelakt. The room has a king-sized bed with a carved-wood frame. Two armchairs and a small table are set in front of the fireplace and a large Berber mirror and Berber accessories adorn the walls of this extraordinary room. The floor is of natural coloured bejmat with a border of red zellige, leading through a dressing area into the bathroom. The walls of the bathroom are made in pale yellow tadelakt, there are vaulted ceilings, a shower, toilet, and separate area with a hammered silver mirror and sink. In-room AC.

Safi Room

This room’s ceiling has a painted zouak (hand-painted motifs) beams, with a matching bed of 180x 200cm and bedside tables with lamps. The bedroom floor is made of bejmat and has a blue zellige border. Two finely-worked wooden armchairs and a small table will allow guests to sit by the fireplace, adorned with Safi pottery. Further pottery items in various forms and colors from this seaside town further decorate this room. The walls are of green tadelakt. There is a generous dressing area and large bathroom. The walls of the bathroom are made in off-white tadelakt, and there are vaulted ceilings, a large bath with shower, toilet, and a hammered silver mirror and sink. In-room AC.

Middle Atlas Room

Some of Morocco’s most unusual and attractive carpets come from this area and several embellish this room. The walls are made of lavender tadelakt, a perfect background for the rich purples and oranges of the rooms’s carpets. The ceiling has violet and walnut-colored beams with a painted frieze of orange Koranic writing. The fireplace is ornately decorated with colourful zelliges. The four-poster bed is a generous 200 x 180cm with bedside tables and lamps. Two armchairs and a table, a trunk and a mirror as well as two leather poufs complete the room’s unique decoration. The floor is of natural bejmat with a red border of zelliges, leading through a dressing area into the bathroom.
